To say 2020 has been challenging is an understatement!

I had the wonderful fortune to be in Liberia just before the world “shut down”, returning to California March 3rd with many (MANY) stories and photos to share. I set them aside when COVID-19 shut down schools and required us to shift our goals to humanitarian aid and public service. Once our students are fully settled back into classes, the “reflections” journey will begin! Watch for it.

And today it is nice to be able to share very good news:

In early October many of our students began returning to classes, after their colleges met the Liberian government COVID safety requirements. We’re excited that our talented students are back on the academic path to careers that bring hope and much needed service to their nation.

  • RYHF donors, thank you for hanging in there with us.
  • Graduates who mentored students, thank you.
  • Partners, we wish you all the best as you navigate the reopening.
  • And … Students, enjoy this time, work hard, and finish strong. YOU are the hope of Liberia.
